Now on display on the Mezzanine level, “A Century of Play: Toys from 1880 to 1980” chronicles 100 years of popular toys and how children played with them.  This exhibit examines trends in toys and how technological advances changed the materials of which they were constructed.  It looks at how historical events and societal changes affect the rate of toy production.  “A Century of Play” also shows the ways in which toys have been marketed to different genders over the years.  This exhibit will be on display through May 2018.
