New to the Mezzanine level of the museum, “Around the House: A History of Domesticity” uses items from the museum’s collections to demonstrate the history of the household and the tasks necessary to keep it running.  Various cooking utensils, aprons, irons, and other items that assisted with work done around the house are on display.  This exhibit includes discussion on traditional gender roles in regards to housework.  “Around the House” will be on display through October.
