Travel down memory lane as you look back at how the idea of a few members of the Ashland community became the Highlands Museum & Discovery Center. Explore the beginnings of the Kentucky Highlands Museum in the Mayo Mansion, the move to the C.H. Parsons Department Store building, the name change to the Highlands Museum & Discovery Center as well as other highlights in the museum's illustrious 25 year history.
