Gingerbread House Contest Winners

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Holidays at the Highlands Open House. It was a fun filled day that got everyone in the Christmas spirit.

Congratulations to the winners of this year’s Gingerbread House Decorating Contest.

We are also grateful for the stunning professional baker’s gingerbread house submitted by Tipton’s Traditions.

This year’s entries were truly outstanding. All of the gingerbread houses will be on display in the museum for the rest of the holiday season. Thank you to Kathy Hill for all of her hard work in coordinating the contest.

The museum would like to thank this year’s musical performers, The Dennis Bills Combo and Sam Smittle, a soloist from Russell High School.

The museum also thanks the amazing volunteers from the Boyd County Homemakers for the gorgeous Christmas decorations as well as the delicious cookies for the Open House.

Winners’ ribbons are now available to be picked up during regular museum hours.
