Renowned Performance Coach will officially unveil his exhibit & visit regional high schools to share insight and tips for success to students, on planning for their futures
Jim Fannin, an Ashland, Kentucky, native who is now known as America’s ZoneCoach® will be in the tristate region (Ashland, Huntington and Ironton) from April 28th through May 5th for the kick off of the Smithsonian Traveling Exhibit “Hometown Teams: How Sports Shape America.” This local celebration is sponsored in part by the Smithsonian Institution, Kentucky Humanities Council, Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, and in partnership with Boyd County Public Library and the Ashland YMCA.
As an Ashland native, Jim is proud to come home to his roots to tell his story of success to students and young adults. Jim will help celebrate the unveiling of the exhibit, and also host two separate roundtable discussions at The Highlands Museum, which are open to the public. Also, while Jim is in the area, to further share his wisdom, experience and knowledge on what it takes to be successful in life, business and sports, he will be speaking at regional high schools in Kentucky, including Boyd County High School, Russell High School, Paul G. Blazer High School and Greenup County High School. Jim will also be donating 25 signed books for each high school library, as well as 25 books each to the Ashland and Boyd County Public Libraries.
