The Friends of the Highlands will present the second annual June in Bloom Garden Tour on Sunday, June 25 from 1pm to 6pm.  The tour will highlight beautiful and unique gardens from seven locations in the Ashland Area.  These gardens will feature myriad interesting landscaping ideas that are sure to inspire the gardener in everyone.  The Boyd County Library will host special activities at the Butterfly Waystation located behind the library in Central Park.  Members of the Southern Hills Garden Club will also be there selling plants and giving tips on how to create a butterfly garden.  Gibbs True Value Hardware in Ashland is a stop on this year’s tour.  Tour participants can present their tickets at the store the day of the event to receive a 10% discount on purchases, a free gift, and entry into a door prize drawing.   Tickets for June in Bloom are $10 and are now on sale at the Highlands Museum and Gibbs True Value Hardware.
