Membership at the museum entitles you to many benefits as well as the opportunity to support the museum. We have several membership types to fit your budget and interest. All museum memberships grant access to over 280 museums world wide, for a list please visit the Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC) website.

ADVANTAGE (Family/Individual) $20

ADVANTAGE members enjoy the same membership benefits as BASIC members. To participate in the ADVANTAGE membership program, prospective members must provide a photo I.D. and show proof of participation in one of the following programs: Food Stamps, Medicaid or WIC. ADVANTAGE Memberships only apply to residence of Kentucky, Ohio or West Virginia. Due to ID requirements, this membership may not be purchased or renewed on-line or over the phone. ADVANTAGE memberships can only be purchased at the Highlands Museum & Discovery Center admissions desk.

BASIC (Family/Individual) $58

Free admission to the museum for all immediate family members plus reciprocal free admission to over 300 other museums worldwide, the Highlander newsletter, 10% discount in the gift shop on select purchases of $10 or more, and discounts on facility rentals, birthday parties, summer camps and special events.

EXPLORERS $100-$249

The BASIC (family or individual) package plus six (6) free passes for friends and visitors to the museum.

DISCOVERERS $250-499

EXPLORERS package plus 2 Highlands Museum & Discovery Center T-Shirts.

ADVENTURERS $500-$999

DISCOVERERS package plus a free BASIC gift membership for the individual/family of your choice.

FOUNDERS $1000 and Up

ADVENTURERS package plus name engraved on Supporters & Benefactors wall and one free four (4) hour rental or 1.5 hour child's Birthday party at the museum.
