Join us Saturday 4/28 at 2PM for “Anglers on the Hook” – Fishin’ with Soc Clay & Sam Piatt – an intimate conversation with America’s greatest outdoor photographer Soc Clay and renowned sports columnist and author G. Sam Piatt.


This year marks the 53rd year that Soc Clay has been writing about and photographing America’s outdoors. Soc is considered a true icon in the outdoor communication experience. His byline and photo credits have appeared countless times

in every major outdoor publication across North America and into Northern Europe. He is considered by many to be the most talented freshwater fishing photographer in North America. Throughout his long career, Soc has been a regular contributor to Outdoor Life, Field&Stream. Sports Afield. Bassmaster, Bassin, Southern Outdoors. Southern Trout, Fishing Facts, In-Fishermen, Walleye, Musky Hunter and dozens of other titles. He was a founding member of Cabela’s Outdoor Journal and Heartland USA Magazine.


For many years, Soc Clay photos were the most widely published

of any magazine photographer in North America. Currently, he has more than 150,000 quality images on file.


Soc has received more than a hundred excellences in craft awards from major media outlets. He was the first photo-journalist to be inducted into the Nat. Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame. He is also a member of the Legends of the Outdoors Nat. Hall of Fame, The Legends of the Fly Nat. Hall of Fame and is a member of the Greenup Co Educational Hall of Fame.

He and Wanda his wife of 63 years Live in their Fern Hollow Cabin in Greenup County, Kentucky
