Donating items to the Highlands Museum & Discovery Center Collection

The Highlands Museum & Discovery Center often accepts donations of items into our artifact collection. Items are evaluated by our Collections Committee to determine if they would be a useful addition to our collection. Please note: Due to limited storage space, it is the policy of the Highlands Museum & Discovery Center to not accept any permanent collections loans. The only exception is items that are loaned temporarily to the museum to augment a previously planned exhibit. In this case, loaned items will be returned to the owner as soon as the planned exhibit closes. In addition, the Highlands Museum & Discovery Center does not purchase collections items. All items added to the collection must be donated to the museum free of charge.
