The Museum has many exhibits and activities to excite the interests of pre-school groups and K-12 grade level student tour groups. Special rates of $2.50 per person apply to pre-arranged tours for groups of 10 or more.

Pre-School groups spend most of their visit in the Discovery Center in Poage's Landing or in the Riverbank, a special pre-school area for children 5 and under.

Student tours include a brief orientation and an age appropriate tour of the first floor and mezzanine levels, including Digging Deeper, School Daze (our one room school house), A Tree House of my Own, Front Porch, Poage's Landing, the Frank and Margaret Adkins Aviation Exhibit and the Country Music Heritage Hall featuring Miley Cyrus (from the hit Disney TV show "Hannah Montana"). Student groups may also request a story at the Music Quilt.

Lunch space is available for seating up to 50. Reservations for lunch space must be made when the tour is booked. All floors are handicap accessible with restroom facilities on each floor.

For more information or to schedule a tour, call the museum office at (606) 329-8888 or Email Us.
